“He who arises in the primordial lands of life. At the first heartbeat. He knows, the heart never breaks. It swells, contracts, expands. It beats the rhythm of life, its silence and its music. Its stillness and its movement.
The Heart Guard was first summoned when the tenderness of the heart was first felt.
You may do with hime what you will.
He can stand by, claws out, jewelled armour, yet he is the one kept alive by the Heart.
He can claim to protect from coldness, yet he is the one kept warm by the Heart’s rays.
He can show his teeth to whomever dares to approach, yet his smile opens the Heart’s Gates.

Let him be the one who embraces the Heart and its tenderness. Let him be the one to remind you that it is not pain that is felt, but the very capacity of the Heart, and that tomorrow, in the same place, joy might arise. And so, look after the soil and soul of the Heart, cultivate its tenderness, embrace its softness. Feel the strength of its Feeling. The Heart Guard is a keeper of keys who might lead you to the Gate of the Heart’s Mysteries. Beyond the most tender pain and the most ecstatic joy, lies the same Gate. And through the Gate is the ocean of infinite depth, held in infinite heavens, where you and I where born and will return, and where our lives flow together and vibrate to the same song, the same light, and the same currents.
I dwell in your freedom, and you dwell in mine. This is where they meet, and this is where we Love.”
