The Dreamer
The Dreamer
Giclée print with gold leaf applied by hand by the artist on each individual print. Signed
The following handwritten text on a seperate paper accompanies the print:
“What was it that you whispered once
That I lost as I awoke
Dreamer of mine, step into my waken life
In the flight of birds, in the sound of water
Step into my steps and guide them home
The home that hosts my widest horizons
And my greatest view
Step into my hands
And give what ought to be given
Step into my arms and hold what ought to be held
Step into my eyes
And direct my sight to revelation
Dreamer of mine
Your holy images
Like dew keep my garden refreshed
At dusk and dawn breathing a new life.
Dreamer of mine you scream, sing, shout, murmure
Dreamer of mine you know my heart, my soul, my might
You are my bridge and my river too
You are the shore and the infinite waters
The day, the night, and the twilight
Dreamer of mine, in your silence I yearn
To converse with you.
I pray, I implore, I ask
Dreamer of mine
Please, give me your truth.
Feed me images
Feed me worlds
Feed me the universe I am made of
In your expanse remind me
The mystery that I am to myself.
In your expanse remind me
The unknown I hold within
In your expanse remind me
My soul is a fountain
I can always drink from
My heart is a well
My mind the water bearer
And my hands the cup.
My "I" the thirsty traveler and the oasis”
